The City of Dallas is characterized by its skyline of high rise buildings, and to get a great view over the City, head to the Reunion Tower building – a 470 feet high tower at 300 Reunion Boulevard East. See www.reuniontower.org Tel: 866 204 0622. This Tower building is the one with the ball shape at the top that looks like a polka-dot ball of light at night.
In Dallas there are many shopping Malls such as Galleria (13350 Dallas Pkwy. See www.dallasgalleria.com ), Highland Park (47 Highland Park Village See www.hpvillage.com ) and many others including Premium outlets ( See Grand Prairie Premium Outlets, 2950 W. Interstate 20, Grand Prairie, about half way between Dallas and Fort Worth www.premiumoutlets.com/grandprairie ) and many others.
The Historic center of the City was Main Street and this has now seen a resurgence of growth and re-development with Main Street being a large green space, with Elm Street on one side and Commerce Street on the other. If you are looking for an atmospheric place to enjoy a coffee, head to Stone Street Gardens, a short street that links Main Street to Elm Street. Also out and about in Dallas and Fort Worth look for some of the small diners. Some of these diners have lots of Americana atmosphere and good food and sometimes music.
There is no shortage of places to stay in Dallas with all the big chain hotels here, as well as smaller ones. You can easily book a place on the Hotels part of this website.
I hope you have a great time in Dallas and Fort Worth.
